Tucked away in Trempealeau County, a remarkable project unfolded on CTH D. Here, the stunning beauty of the landscape merges with engineering brilliance as the existing bridge over Irvin Creek, just south of Whitehall, WI, was gracefully replaced.

Undeterred by the challenge, the project ensured uninterrupted travel along CTH D. Through strategic planning and implementation, a temporary bypass structure allowed traffic to flow smoothly during construction, minimizing disruptions for commuters and residents alike.
The new structure stands tall as a testament to the artistry of engineering. A single span prestressed concrete girder bridge was meticulously constructed, providing a sturdy foundation for safe and efficient passage. Every aspect of its design ensures durability, longevity, and structural integrity.
Beyond the bridge itself, the project focused on perfecting the entire journey. Grading the approaches ensured seamless transitions, while expert asphalt paving created smooth and reliable road surfaces. Safety enhancements, including the installation of beam guards, were implemented to protect travelers and instill confidence in every mile.
